Question 1. Please let us know more about your journey, how and from where you started?
I started my career as a TGT teacher from where I had learnt skills like classroom management and students handling. I also worked as PGT teacher in few schools. Currently, I am associated with Mahaveer Jain National School, Ratlam as Vice Principal.

 

Question 2. Being a Change-maker, how can you contribute towards the betterment of the community of Teachers and Principals?
By sharing my knowledge and skills with my fellow educators, organising brainstorming sessions/webinars/seminars on various teaching methodologies. During this process, I would also like to upgrade my knowledge.

 

Question 3. What kind of support would you like to provide to teachers and fellow educators?
Mentoring and guiding fellow educators., Organising webinars or workshop for community.

 

Question 4. Please mention some of your skills that can help community members.
Classroom Management, Leadership, self motivated and a learner.

 

Question 5. The transition from an individual contributor to a leadership role must have required specific skills, what skills do you think are critical for teachers for such transition? Were there any challenges as well, If yes then how did you overcome those challenges?
leadership roles require one to carefully juggle the sub-roles of supervisor, coach, decision maker, and visionary. Supervisory tasks include delegation, communication, and coordination of tasks, as well monitoring of work performance and deadlines. Coaching, on the other hand, entails familiarizing employees with the workplace and developing their skills so they consistently deliver optimal work. As a decision maker, a leader must establish the direction of the company and effectively make sound critical decisions to implement it, even under pressure. And finally, as a visionary, a leader is tasked with creating a vision and developing a strong organizational culture that motivates employees to follow it.

 

Question 6. How would you describe your leadership style?
I lead from the front by taking action, demonstrating what needs to be done, and keeping my team organized to make sure we’re all on the same page and contributing equally.”I lead by facilitating open communication, and trying to bring out the best in every team member.I try to give each person a chance to do what they’re best at and create a team effort that delivers a result that’s greater than the sum of its parts.

 

Question 7. What advice would you give to a new teacher?
Be organized, be creative and fun, not all students learn the same way so be flexible, breathe, have fun, enjoy your students creativity, listen and never stop learning. If it's overwhelming for you it's overwhelming for your students. Take a breather and continue. Never give up.

 

Question 8. What would be your ideal school environment, and how would you encourage that kind of culture?
An ideal school environment embraces the idea that all students can learn and it works up to build safe learning spaces for students. We hire teachers who are knowledgeable, care about student learning, and adapt our instruction to meet the needs of these young learners. We also try to be nimble and adjust as per the needs of Parents. We work really hard to make the curriculum relevant to the lives of these Children and focus on what they learn as they grow up to step out in the world, a student success is a complex idea and measuring it must be accomplished with many tools. We try our best to provide them with all that we can to ensure the development of kids not only in the educational aspect but in another extra curriculum also.

 

Question 9. How would you develop an inclusive environment in your school?
Inclusion is about how we structure our schools, our classrooms and our lessons so that all our students learn and participate together. An inclusive classroom is one that creates a supportive environment for all learners, including those with learning differences and one that can also challenge and engage gifted and talented learners by building a more responsive learning environment.
Inclusivity also means respecting people from all backgrounds and cultures. By teaching our students the importance of this we can create a much more tolerant and understanding environment, not just in the classroom and school but also in wider society.
An inclusive school or classroom can only be successful when all students feel they are truly part of the school community. This can only happen through open, honest discussion about differences and understanding and respecting people from all abilities and backgrounds. An inclusive environment is one where everyone feels valued.

 

Question 10. As the position of a Principal requires intense time management, how do you organize your day to meet the plethora of requirements and commitments required as the School Principal?
SETTING PRIORITIES IS PRIORITY-I make decisions about what is most important for the current school year, and then I focus on those goals all year long Learn to say "No."
--- Control interruptions.
--- Plan.
--- Delegate.
--- Use a to-do list.
--- Ask for help.
--- Don't procrastinate.
--- Use e-mail.
--- Keep the paper moving.
--- Outsource.
--- Use technology.
--- Hire good staff.
VISIBILITY IS ESSENTIAL-It's easy to get confined in the office, so I make sure I'm out and about at least an hour in the morning. Also, I stop in the cafeteria during at least two lunch periods each day and go out and about again for 30-45 minutes each afternoon. As busy principals, we must find responsible, trustworthy people on our staffs who are leaders or aspiring leaders to handle tasks that we can not tackle due to time limitations." Make time for power meeting-Short enough to do standing.Often personalized for the team that is meeting.Focused on key topics.

 

Question 11. What is your opinion on the use of technology in classrooms? Were there any challenges that you faced in integrating technology?
Integrating computer technology into the classroom can serve as a means for teachers to support and enhance learning, create opportunities to connect with students, and encourage students to connect with information in new and exciting ways. With supportive guidance, clearly defined objectives, and attentive instruction on how to use technology effectively and responsibly, students are equipped with new skills as digital learners that have been linked to both improved academic performance and increased personal and career success There are a number of factors we must each consider (cost, ease of use, ongoing support for proper understanding and usage) that will impact our decision of how, when, and if we should introduce new technology.
Common challenges and concerns teachers experience when integrating technology and digital media in the classroom include: Students misusing technology,Teacher knowledge and professional development,Keeping students safe online,Cost of new technology,Keeping up with changes.

 

Question 12. Do you feel there are any gaps in the present education system? If so, how do you feel one can fill those gaps?
Time low.
Infrastructure Classroom-based technologies have improved the classroom experience by introducing audio-visual material and multimedia content, which has led to increasing engagement.
The classrooms are now more lively and interactive.
The Government is also emphasizing on e-learning to be introduced in schools around the country.
Quality of Teachers It is almost a no-brainer that digital education is a norm of the future.
Technology is a powerful tool to aid and assist teachers in improving their teaching methods and using data to learn new insights about each student taking an examination or learning a concept. Traditionally in a one to one interaction a teacher moulds his teaching process continuously to adapt to the learners needs.
Affordable and Accessible Education Technology is making education at every level more affordable by providing courses and content for free or at very reasonable costs.

 

Question 13. Would you like to share any specific message to the community of teachers and principals?
From my side both should be a learner and then they may be preacher. Innovation must be it's extent and their team work. Principal and teacher must be have proper discussion in any of the important academic issues and of student.
