As a school teacher you’ll have to handle students’ dress code violations at many instances but yes you have to be mindful and sensitive towards them while doing so. A good practice is to point it out and handover a slip without elaborating anything. Otherwise, you can also tell them politely but firmly to correct it and not to repeat it. Remember that your hesitation in correcting the students’ dress code can raise a concern from the principal’s end.
