Most parents are overconcerned about their child’s performance at school and email the teachers frequently over petty matters or just to check the progress for that matter. Now, it’s completely up to you to entertain such nothing-burger emails by replying immediately or after some delay. Practically, the response time to any such communication should depend on urgency of the matter and teacher’s availability at the same time. So, if you sense that delaying the response may make the parent/s anxious or panicked, it’s better not to keep them waiting forever. For the regular correspondence, you can take your time to answer mainly because you may not be willing to encourage more such routine emails.
