It is quite basic to involve young children in the reading activity to keep up their interest throughout the class. Hence the topmost tip is to make them read or repeat along with you. In fact, most of the children’s books are designed with repetitive texts to encourage their complete participation. Another significant point to consider is being verbatim and not monotonous with the preschoolers. However, don’t forget that when reading to kids, you’re actually modelling the appropriate method of how should books be read! You can also include some charts, sounds, props or pictures (in addition to the ones printed in books) to multiply the fun of reading out to the children.
