Teaching spelling can be made more effective and interesting with a few tips such as focusing more on the sounds than the letters, grouping similarly spelled words and using colors. You can teach spelling and vocabulary together and ask the learners to write definitions of every word which will help them memorize in a better way. Other than this, you could also help them make sentences with the newly taught words or go creative by tracing the words and making the kids color them. You can also group some words together and let the children make a story with them.
