How to utilize the parent volunteers?

Some parents love to volunteer for the school activities and can contribute wonderfully towards it if you know how to utilize their services appropriately. To keep a track of such parents, you can make them sign up a sheet at Open House at the very beginning of the year so that they can be called whenever needed. Alternatively, a parents’ portal can also be created where they can sign up and get updated about the assignments of their interest regularly. There would be moms who can come once in a while to assist you with preparations of events and others who can come frequently to give a hand in managing classroom activities. Although less interested than the moms but there are a few dads too who want to volunteer. If managed properly, all those who are interested can be involved in various activities of reading comprehension, writing, counting, vocabulary and creating presentations also. Additionally, they can also help you with the official paperwork and homework correction.
