    • Work as a mediator between parent and teacher.
    • Organize and manage the school budget.
    • Plans and implements the daily routines of the school.
    • Drive and support implementation of the School principles, set the tone and culture of the school, and hold the school accountable for student achievement.
    • Handle severe disciplinary problems with a student.
    • Responsible for monitoring the education and extracurricular activities of the students at the educational facility.
    • Monitor lesson plans of the teachers as well as other activities which go on in the school to ensure that the students are receiving the educational requirements and activity requirements that are necessary to provide a well-rounded learning environment for them.
    • Supervise the instructional programs of the school, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes (teaching, as duties allow) on a regular basis.
    • Notify immediately the Board, and appropriate personnel and agencies when there is evidence of substance abuse, child abuse, child neglect, severe medical or social conditions, potential suicide or students appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
    • Establish schedules and procedures for the supervision of students in non-classroom areas (including before and after school).
    • Communicate regularly with parents, seeking their support and advice, so as to create a cooperative relationship to support the student in the school.
    • Organize and supervise procedures for identifying and addressing special needs of students including health-related concerns, and physical, emotional and spiritual needs (keeping the Management informed of these).
    • Monitor students results and provide quarterly student grade and behavior reports to parents.
    • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising, supporting, developing, evaluating, disciplining and termination of staff.
    • Interview prospective faculty members as well as supervise and evaluate staff performance.
    • Provides guidance to the teachers and the students as well.
    • Resolve any issues with regard to payroll.
    • Organize the training & development programs for the teachers.
    • Contact businesses to let them know of any contributions or sponsorships which may be needed for various school programs, academic as well as extracurricular activity.
    • Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school.
    • Keep the staff informed and seek ideas for the improvement of the school. Conduct meetings, as necessary, for the proper functioning of the school: weekly meetings for full-time staff; monthly staff meetings.
    • Assume responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of students, employees and visitors.
    • Communicate with the Management regularly about the needs, successes and general operation of the school.
    • Protect the confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines.
    • Maintain positive, cooperative and mutually supportive relationships with staff, parents and Management.
    • Enforce uniform policy and appearance policy among the students & staff so as to assure a school environment.
    • Conduct workshops for the teachers & students to achieve their greatest potential academically, instructionally and spiritually.
    • M.ED / B.ED / Master degree with relevant 10 to 20 yrs. experience of teaching & administration functions in a reputed CBSE school, preferably in a english convent school. Age should be below 60 yrs
