Role and responsibilities:-
Welcome to Harvest International School. At Harvest, keeping the modern global and national context in mind, we strive to make the quest for learning a way of life; a tradition. To quote Thomas L. Friedman from his book ‘The world is flat’-when the Walls Came Down and the Windows Went Up- definitely the world has become a smaller place and children of today need an education that prepares them to meet the challenges of the competitive world. I definitely feel very honoured to be in charge of a seat of learning that can mould the most significant resource of any nation — young, impressionable minds, like sponges waiting to amass knowledge. At the same time, we should not forget the simple fact that though academic strength is an added power, children of today also need excellent communication skills, understanding of global culture and accede to cultural sensitivity. We should be able to teach our children to face a greater examination called life and not just throttle them with bookish knowledge. At Harvest, ethics and etiquettes, principles and discipline, values and culture, are ingrained into our children right from the Montessori classes to mould them into good human beings who are capable of taking the world in their stride. We nurture the leaders of tomorrow through a unique, well-defined curriculum and a dedicated focus on education beyond the classroom. We look forward to seeing you on the campus!
