Job Summary:
A Desktop Support engineer is responsible for troubleshooting the issues that appear on the
company’s network. They resolve the issues of the clients with their knowledge of hardware and
software applications. He/she will support users of computers and software systems by
troubleshooting issues, installing and maintaining equipment, and providing technical assistance
Key Responsibilities:
ï‚· Providing phone, email, remote, and in-person support to troubleshoot various technical
problems
ï‚· Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, peripherals, and networking
equipment
ï‚· Resolving issues with internet connectivity, printers, scanners, phones, and other
equipment
ï‚· Performing troubleshooting to diagnose system failures and identifying root causes
ï‚· Managing technology inventory and placing orders for equipment
ï‚· Escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams if unable to resolve them

ï‚· Providing new system orientation and training to end users
ï‚· Documenting technical issues and solutions in a ticketing system
