Description:

Key responsibilities:


• Meet prospective parents, handle all their queries related to the centre and convert them to admission for the centre.
• Plan & Organize local promotion activities e.g. print and distribution of promotional material, advertisement in local newspaper / media etc.
• Generating new admissions by preparing marketing strategies & implementing them in coordination with the Academic Head and planning marketing strategies in terms of the advertising plan, event planning & publicizing in coordination with Head office
• Collecting data of all inquiries, sorting it and aligning according to age group.
• Ensure that Centre meets assigned admission target.
• Liaison with external agencies and vendors for operational aspects.
• Track and manage logistics – material and transport in coordination with Head Office.
• Keep track of staff attendance and leave.
• Assist Director / Zonal Head / Head – Academic & Operations in overall management and administration.
• Handling all parent grievances in coordination with Lead Teacher promptly after the admission of the student.
• Building up rapport with various corporate, hospitals, external education agencies & dignitaries for increasing PR.
• Supervise staff to ensure maximum parent participation through the establishment and
development of parent committees, volunteerism at the Centre, etc
• Responsible for the supervision, training and evaluation of staff on an on-going basis. This includes the clear establishment of annual performance goals, corrective action for poor performance, regular staff meetings, and development of job descriptions as well as undertaking Teacher Performance Appraisals as required.
• Coordinate with the Head Academic & Team in developing curriculum plans for the infant/toddler and preschool program as and when required.
• Meet regularly with the Head Academic & team to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of the infant/toddler and preschool program.
• Supervise and meet regularly with the Teachers, infant/toddler and preschool staff to monitor and manage the progress of the program.
• Interview applicants for open positions.

• Participate in selection of teachers & other centre employees as well as Counseling & retaining them.
• Attend & conduct all staff meetings, in-service trainings, Board meetings and retreats as directed.
• Plan, coordinate and host events/ workshops for parents and or teachers as directed by the Head Academic in/out of the preschool premises.
• Assist in class if necessary and/or arrange for relief staff in case of absence of the respective teacher.
• Manage the maintenance of records on each child’s attendance, progress and development to ensure compliance with Lead teachers
• Coordinate with Lead teachers to implement purchase and maintain inventory systems for supplies and equipment.
• Maintain enrolment and facilitate the transitioning of children entering and leaving the program along with regular audit reports.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports, including financial & Admission reports as required by the HO.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to teachers & support staffs.
• Observe and evaluate staff on a regular basis. Supervise Teachers and associate teachers in planning and implementing daily program based on the principles of child development and in accordance with the program’s curriculum.
• Organize and oversee the conducting of after school clubs.
• Maintain traffic discipline to be followed by the parents/visitors, around the preschool locality to ensure a hindrance free zone for the neighboring societies.
• Keep abreast of current knowledge in the field of early childhood education.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to classroom staff.
• Oversee the bus services provided to the children either by company or by any other third party vendor.
• Health and safety matters:
• Ensure all aspects of health and safety are followed
• Fire evacuation drills are undertaken and records maintained
• Maintain first aid box
• Coordinate and conduct health and safety measures
• Undertake other responsibilities as deemed appropriate & directed by Management.
