The Technological Institute of Textile & Sciences

The Institute was born in the fog of the Second World War in 1943 out of the vision of the great entrepreneur and visionary Padma Vibhushan Dr. Ghanshyam Dass Birla under the auspices of the Birla Education Trust. Presently, the Institute is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak for all its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. All the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes are duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Govt. of Haryana. The Institute is also an approved centre for Doctoral Research leading to award of Ph.D. Degree under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology of the affiliating University. With a strong and enviable alumni support that spans industry and academia around the globe, with dedicated and erudite faculty providing quality education, with regular placements and with devoted management and staff, TIT&S continues its journey well into the twenty first century.
