Silicon Institute of Technology

Silicon Institute of Technology was established under a duly registered Trust with an objective to provide high quality technical education having significant humanistic aspects. Since inception the Institution started its operation from its permanent campus at Silicon Hills, Patia in Bhubaneswar and Silicon West, Sason, Sambalpur. Both locations have beautiful campuses buzzing with activities with more than two thousand students, about two thousand alumni and four hundred and fifty staff members. Over the past decade, Silicon Institute of Technology has earned the reputation for being a premier engineering institute, and placed itself prominently in the academic map of India. The Institution has a think tank comprising of accomplished academicians, educational entrepreneurs, industry personnel and educationists with global exposure to aid and advise. Silicon is determined to build a wholesome Institution that would move beyond teaching and learning, with creative leadership and with a culture of teaming. Silicon is constantly innovating and improving to adapt to the needs of students through accepting innovations and embracing modern technology and techniques, thus making it student centric. Silicon’s endeavor has been to make “success” a habit. Silicon’s growth has been possible because of its commitment to excellence and thirst for innovativeness and dynamism. The untiring efforts of a highly dedicated team have been a cornerstone of its success and fast growth. Our Alumni for last twelve years have been the testimony of our Institute. The success of our students every year in All India Rank for GATE, CAT, UPSC (IES) has given Silicon an edge over others. Also, many of our students are pursuing higher studies abroad in respectable institutes. Further, our students’ progression in corporate jobs has given Silicon an enviable position besides the number of placements offered being among the best in the eastern zone.
