MatriKiran High School

Inspired by the ideals and ideas of integrated education of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, the educational aim of MatriKiran is to help children develop their physical, mental, emotional, psychic, and spiritual facets through learning by exploration and discovery. We believe that our institution is a place where every child needs to be happy, and where learning can take place unhindered by the burden of expectations. For us, spirituality and value education are important ingredients towards helping young children understand themselves and the world around them. Sri Aurobindo and The Mother believed that souls of all children have a natural inclination to learn and are waiting for the call of knowledge to awaken them to meaningful and pleasurable living. This is where we begin at MatriKiran - keeping the child, the learner, the organic soul - in mind. With guidance, focus, encouragement, and love, we help the child to become fully aware and conscious of all that is around him. A consciousness that leads them to awaken their own self to truth, light, and knowledge so that they mature into unique, vibrant, productive, and compassionate human beings. This philosophy has given birth to MatriKiran and reflects the soul of this institution. It is this identity that gives us our sense of commitment and focus.
