Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3, ONGC, Surat, established in the year 1993, is a co-educational institution affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education and run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. It is Project Sector Vidyalaya located in the well maintained residential Township (ONGC Nagar) of sponsoring agency, the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. Over a span of 18 years, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3, ONGC Nagar, Surat has won itself an enviable reputation of maintaining high educational standards. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3, ONGC started in the year 1993 (10 August 1993) with only 104 students up to class 5th, and 5 staff members. Now it has almost 600+ students, a staff strength of about 32 and classes up to 12th (Science Stream) Truly to the Maharatna status of the sponsoring project, the Vidyalaya is bestowed with an elegant, functional-friendly school building with well furnished class rooms This provides an ambient atmosphere for ease of learning and holistic development of the children and adequately equipped and well maintained infra-structural facilities focused on safety and hygienic requirements of the students.
