Jain Happy School

Education is the most important tool for the progress and development of a person, society and nation . It should be imparted to all children equally irrespective of colour, creed, religion & language at a nominal price, with this vision Jain happy school was established and late Shri. Ajit Prasad Jain the first Manager of the school in Sep. 1952 with only 3 students begin within the nursery section by Jain Sabha, New Delhi in its premises at Jain Nishi Temple, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, New Delhi which has an area of about one acre. Late shri sham lal Jain the then President of Jain Sabha, New Delhi (1952) and a well known social figure among the Jains of Delhi. Together with late shri Hans Kumar Jain, Secretary of the Sabha, were mainly instrumental in establishing the school. As the educational standard of the school was outstanding and the fees was reasonable, there was a steady trickle in the number of students and the school was soon raised to middle level (upto VIII class) in the year1960 and raised upto class X in the year 1993. Efforts are being made persistently to raise it upto senior secondary level (i.e. up to XII).
