The school is a tribute to Late Sri. Duraisamy Mahadevan,M.E, M.I.E, B.Tech.Ed, MISTE, a former Polytechnic College Principal, a true visionary and an educationalist who envisaged the idea of providing quality education for the students of Gudiyattam. He believed that, “Education is the property we give to our children”, he is a source of inspiration and motivation in establishing the Trust.
