Mahatma Gandhi Sarvodaya Sangh is an eminent organization founded by Magasasay Award winner Padmashree Dr. Manibhai Desai in 1950. Dr Cyrus Poonawalla English Medium School is run by Mahatma Gandhi Sarvodaya Sangh since 2010. This CBSE school affiliated upto senior secondary. The school is named after Dr. Cyrus Poonwalla, the well known industrialist and philanthropist.The management along with Dr. Poonwalla has spared no effort to make this school come up to the international standards. Dr.Cyrus Poonawalla English Medium School was envisioned by our great leader and Minister of Agriculture, Government of India Hon. Shri. Sharadchandraji Pawar Saheb who is also the President of ‘Mahatma Gandhi Sarvodaya Sangh’. It was his vision to build an English Medium School of international standard in Uruli Kanchan. Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla, the well known industrialist and philanthropist supported this vision and it became a reality.
