The Vistara World School and Vistara Juniors are run by Vidyashilp Education Trust. The board of directors have done intense research on various educational models around the globe and interviewed some great achievers and outstanding thinkers from different disciplines. Intensely studied modern researches in childhood and adolescence learning, such as, Glenn Doman’s work on child brain development, Jean Piaget’s theory of pragmatic Education and Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. All this facilitated in developing a comprehensive understanding of the changing needs and paradigms of school education. The concept and plans for the school has been developed by the best minds in the field of education. They decided to name the school "Vistara" a sanskrit word meaning ‘limitless expansion’ symbolising the infinite potential of human mind.
