Navodaya Institute of Technology

Navodaya Institute of Technology (NIT-R) was established in 2008 by Navodaya Education Trust (NET), the biggest premier private institution in the education in Raichur, Karnataka, India. NET aims at developing Navodaya Institute of Technology (NIT-R) as the most respected and sought-after technical institution of higher learning in Karnataka. The institute started with four B. E. courses Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and Information & Science Engineering (ISE). In the year 2011 new branches of engineering courses i.e Civil Engineering (CE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) were approved with an intake of 60 each. Subsequently, in the year 2014 two PG programmes M. Tech – Thermal Power Engineering and M. Tech. – Digital Communication & Networking were introduced. All these courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to VTU, Belgavi , Karnataka
