Founded in 1999, through a bequest made by Sh. R.N. Jindal, GIAST granted a perpetual college empowering women in the field of higher education. Gitarattan Institute of Advanced Studies & Training is a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic community. Its intellectual agenda and distinctive academic profile emphasize issues relating to human welfare and social, economic and environmental well-being in the 21st century. We offer a 2 year Professional Degree Course, viz. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) & 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) affiliated to State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Govt of Delhi and recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).
