Century Foundation was established in the year 2007 with an objective to impart quality education & provide excellent teachers to the society. The college is run by Century Foundation Educational Trust’s Chairman Mr. Manokaran, a lawyer and Correspondent Dr.Mrs.M.Sakthi Devi. This management is making lasting contribution in the field of quality education in order to inculcate the values in teachers for the present generation. They work with an aim /vision to achieve far reaching results in the field of Education. The attitude and interest of our management is promoting excellence in Teacher Education. It is one among the Colleges of teacher education started under self-financing scheme during 2007 and was affiliated to Bharathiar University until 30.06.2008 with the No : BU/R/A1-A/2007/1679. The Government of Tamil Nadu by an act of legislature has established the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University in the State of Tamil Nadu for promoting excellence in Teachers education with effect from 01.07.2008. Our College is presently affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University with the No TNTEU: Vide Lr No: TNTEU/R/AFFLN – Contin /2009-10/159 dated on 15.04.2009 and our recent affiliated lr. No. is No.TNTEU/R/Cont./Affln./2019/150 Dated on 12.09.2019 1.National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has accorded its recognition by Order No: Vide Lr.No F.SRO/NCTE/B.Ed/ 2006-2007/13913 dated on 01.11.2007. 2.National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has given us the revised recognition by Order No: Vide Lr.No F.SRO / NCTE / APS05293 / B.Ed / TN/2014-15/ 63400. dated on 21.04.2015
