Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Help younger students learn how to navigate a computer.
  2. Help students learn different computer related skills based on grade & level.
  3. Supervises use of computer equipment during lab hours.
  4. Organize, maintain and manage class systems in proper working condition.
  5. Teach students and learners to use computers. Design and develop appropriate computer instructional material. .
  6. Initiate and implement systems, procedures and other student management issues.
  7. Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities.
  8. Coordinate and collaborate with head teacher, principal and teachers.
  9. Integrate special lesson plans with core academic curriculum.
  10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Computer Teacher Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Comfortable working with computer hardware, software, networking and information delivery systems
  2. Effective communicators with good public speaking skills and strong presentation delivery abilities
  3. Good leaders, with a variety of teaching styles that facilitate one-on-one and group learning activities

About Vivek High School, Mohali

Vivek High School, Sector 70, Mohali, started its first Academic Session on April 16, 2007 with an Orientation Programme for parents of the new admissions in classes Pre Nursery to III. The parents were welcomed by the School Student Council of V.H.S., Sector-38 and Teaching Staff of Mohali. Staff Members of the school were dressed up in Phulkari to celebrate the spirit of Baisakhi. The lamp was lit by the parents of the child who took the first admission in the school.The Director, Mrs. Daman Dugal welcomed the parents and oriented them to the school History, Ethos and Philosophy, highlighting the motto of the school is Knowledge and Integrity.The eminent members present were Mr. H.S. Mamik, Chairman; Mrs. Sheila Mamik, Administrator; Mrs. Daman Dugal,Director and members of Riverdale Society of Shri Gurudev Group.Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Dua explained the specific goals and priorities of the school. She introduced the Child Centered Vivek curriculum and how children can be made life long learners through knowledge and self confidence. She also introduced enthusiastic staff to the parents.The Administrator Mrs. Sheila Mamik entertained the Parents through her heart rendering old memories of the school. This was followed by tea and light snacks. Then Parents interacted with the teachers in their classrooms who explained to them the routine procedures and reviewed all important issues and teaching methodology.Later parents purchased books and completed their Office queries. It was indeed a red letter day in the history of the school as it spread its legacy of uncompromising standards in the pursuit of excellence, sprit of love, kindness and care, thus making the Vivek family of students, parents, teachers and management grow ever and deeper.
