Job Description

Role and responsibilities:-

  1. Planning and preparing courses and lessons. Maintaining up to date subject knowledge related to CBSE preparation for Classes 6th to 10th.
  2. Be proactively involved in teaching students.
  3. Motivating, facilitating, teaching, according to the pupil's educational needs.
  4. Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class. Preparing weekly assignments for each batch assigned to him/her.
  5. Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere.
  6. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.
  7. Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement / need arises.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Strong knowledge of Physical Education subject and ability to handle learners from class 6th to 10th .
  2. Candidates with School Teaching Experience along with experience in scholastic exam training will be preferred.
  3. Candidates must have a clear understanding of teaching and learning needs of Foundation
  4. Course students, who need to excel in School as well as Competitive Exams.
  5. Candidates with a habit of continuous self learning will be preferred.
  6. Must possess excellent presentation and English communication skills.

Skills Requireds:

  1. Capable to teach the concerned subject.
  2. Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
  3. Develop children's interests, abilities and coordination using creative activities such as Art, Music and Sport
  4. Use Computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
  5. Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
  6. Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including in the playground during breaks.
  7. Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
  8. Assess and evaluate students' progress in written and oral work.
  9. Discuss students progress and concerns with parents and administrators.
  10. Prepare for and attend Parent- Teacher Interviews and other functions.

Qualification: Graduation/Master in Physical Education, B.Ed

Experience Required: Minimum 1 - 2 Years.

About Peevees Public School

Peevees Public School has officially partnered with India’s leading football academy, Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) to open BBFS’ Residential Academy in Nilambur, with an Integrated Football Program. This is the 2nd residential academy of BBFS, but the primary residential academy in South India, where young aspiring football players will be trained by licensed coaches from BBFS, while receiving education as enrolled students in Peeves Public School. We are excited with this collaboration, as Peevees will be able to play an integral role in developing rising football stars of the future. BBFS was co-founded by Indian football legend, Bhaichung Bhutia, to give children across the country the facilities and quality training that they would need to play, learn and master the sport. Today, BBFS is India’s largest football training program with the highest academy rating by the AIFF (All India Football Federation) and has trained over 15,000 players over 9 years. BBFS has already helped produce 8 international players and over 40 players who have pursued professional careers in football. BBFS Residential Academy adopts a sports-science approach to developing players. Further, the Academy looks at the holistic growth and development of a player, alongside career guidance and continuous mentorship. In 2019, 3 players from BBFS’ Residential Program have been selected to join the India U-15 squad.
