Peevees Public School has officially partnered with India’s leading football academy, Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) to open BBFS’ Residential Academy in Nilambur, with an Integrated Football Program. This is the 2nd residential academy of BBFS, but the primary residential academy in South India, where young aspiring football players will be trained by licensed coaches from BBFS, while receiving education as enrolled students in Peeves Public School. We are excited with this collaboration, as Peevees will be able to play an integral role in developing rising football stars of the future. BBFS was co-founded by Indian football legend, Bhaichung Bhutia, to give children across the country the facilities and quality training that they would need to play, learn and master the sport. Today, BBFS is India’s largest football training program with the highest academy rating by the AIFF (All India Football Federation) and has trained over 15,000 players over 9 years. BBFS has already helped produce 8 international players and over 40 players who have pursued professional careers in football. BBFS Residential Academy adopts a sports-science approach to developing players. Further, the Academy looks at the holistic growth and development of a player, alongside career guidance and continuous mentorship. In 2019, 3 players from BBFS’ Residential Program have been selected to join the India U-15 squad. Through this program, players will receive: Training under expert coaches Competitive Exposure through tournaments and Leagues Regular player evaluations and monitoring of physical development Theoretical knowledge through video analysis sessions and strategy classes Proper nutrition and diet Scouting opportunities Career guidance and mentoring
