The Lions club kinder garten school was handed over to the Daughters of Mary Marthandam in 1971 for better management with the strength of 23. From then on this institution was run by the Sisters of D.M convent under the able guidance of the director Rev.Fr.Msgr.Joseph Kuzhinjalil and the manager Rev. Mother Mary Kallarackal D.M. The managemnt was very particular in introducing the students to the best academics mixed with general knowledge. This was achieved by the literary association introduced for kids during 1973. The school had a van in the second year itself. New buildings started to come up along with students strength. Invariably classes would start with the morninig assembly with Prayer song, Pledge, Moral reading and News headlines. Co-curricular activities, tours and visits to the homes of disabled were very much part of the agenda in keeping with the vision and the mission of the institution even way back in 1980's. From June 1990 the school was upgraded to a High School. Our school secured centum results when the 1st set of X std. students appeared for the Board Examination in 1995 with state ranks. In 1997 the 1st batch of girls apperared for XII public Exams, boys were admitted to XI in 2006. Almost every year students topped the public exams at Zonal, District and State leavels. Cent percent results were a matter of routine for X and XII standards. Our students take part in compititions at District, State and National levels and come with prizes. They present projects and papers not only in India but also outside the country too. We started with new titled buildings for hundred of students in 1992. It has grown to a capacity of 3000+ students with labs, Seminars hall, Language lab, Auditorium, Indoor play area and Libraries distributed over four massive buildings named after St.Francis of Assisi, Msgr.Joseph Kuzhinjalil, Mother Mary Kallarackal and St. Little Therese.
