Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop dance curriculums and prepare lessons plans.
- Train, rehearse and lead students in school and community dance programs.
- Conduct dance classes according to rules and regulations established by Board of education.
- Develop and maintain an effective dance educational program for students.
- Schedule daily classes to instruct and rehearse within the assigned time.
- Understand potentials and skills of each student and guide individual student according to their skills.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback and assistance to improve their dance skills.
- Maintain lesson plans and instructional materials for students.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Maintain student behavioral standards to ensure productive and disciplined environment during group rehearsals, practices, and performances.
- Collaborate with school administration to organize dance programs for civic functions and school productions.
- Monitor students in and out of the classrooms.
- Maintain safe and positive learning environment for students.
- Participate in curriculum development programs, student activities and faculty committees.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Attend educational workshops, trainings and professional improvement programs to maintain professional competence.
- Maintain student grading and attendance records.
- Evaluate student progress and ensure that students complete daily assignments
- Teacher should know at least 3-4 forms of dance.
- The teacher must have the capability of realizing the students proper meaning of movements

About GENESIS GLOBAL SCHOOL
Genesis Global School has well-appointed residential facilities for students. Genesis offers two options a five-day boarding programme or a full seven-day residential programme. Parents and students need to recognise the value of residential life as our boarding students tend to achieve higher academic standing, participate in the arts and athletic programmes and fill leadership positions more often when compared to the day students. Residential life in the senior grades should be something that parents consider.
The boarding programme is overseen by the Head of Residences, and a group of dedicated house parents who tailor everything to the student’s needs. Together the residence staff plan regular activities and outings for the boarding students and provide support during evening study. All boarding students are required to participate in the After School Programme daily, as well as Service Programmes that are planned during specified weekends.
While the boarding students’ days are full, the athletic facilities, library, art rooms and outdoor spaces are made available for student use during unscheduled periods. The campus is secured by closed-circuit TV and a full roster of security personnel to ensure students are always safe.
