Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:-

  • To share the admission process with prospective parents
  • To address the queries of prospective and existing parents
  • To facilitate the entire admission process
  • To maintain a record of students’ data, registration, admissions, and withdrawals
  • Preparing MIS on the walk-ins to conversions; Admission v/s budgets etc.
  • Maintain all school related required information to be shared with prospective parents as one point of contact
  • To be updated with all school activities / events for sharing of the same with prospective parents
  • Ensure timely notices / circulars related to admissions and withdrawals are sent to all parents
  • Planning various marketing activities in coordination with corporate marketing team to obtain visibility for the School.
  • Contacting prospective parents via emails and cold calls.

Admissions Counselor Skills and Qualifications:

  • Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.

About Harrow International School, Bengaluru

Harrow International School, Bengaluru will be the first of a series of Harrow Schools to open across India, in a collaboration between Harrow School, UK and Amity Education, a not-for-profit education foundation based in Delhi. A co-educational boarding and day school, Harrow Bengaluru will have capacity for 1760 students aged 2 to 18, including 960 boarders aged 11 to 18. In the first phase of development, a combined middle and senior school (Years 7 to 13) will be opened for pupils aged 11 to 18.
