Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:-
- To share the admission process with prospective parents
- To address the queries of prospective and existing parents
- To facilitate the entire admission process
- To maintain a record of students’ data, registration, admissions, and withdrawals
- Preparing MIS on the walk-ins to conversions; Admission v/s budgets etc.
- Maintain all institution related required information to be shared with prospective parents as one point of contact
- To be updated with all institution activities / events for sharing of the same with prospective parents
- Ensure timely notices / circulars related to admissions and withdrawals are sent to all parents
- Planning various marketing activities in coordination with corporate marketing team to obtain visibility for the institution.
- Contacting prospective parents via emails and cold calls.
Admissions Counselor Skills and Qualifications:
- Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.
